Foundation
FACIAPA was founded in Belém on May 26, 1983. The associative entity aims to represent the commercial and business associations of the state of Pará. Roberto Farid Elias Massoud, who at the time presided over the Commercial Association of Pará, was its first president and founder along with the presidents and representatives of the Commercial Associations of Santarém, Óbidos, Ponta de Pedras, Capanema, Castanhal, Icoaraci, Altamira, Tucuruí, Paragominas, Itaituba, Abaetetuba, Conceição do Araguaia, and Bragança.
Mission
To defend, represent, and contribute to the interests of commercial associations in Pará. Aiming at the constant strengthening of its members and the business interests that seek to promote development through direct actions throughout the region.
Vision
To be recognized as a reference entity in Business Associativism in Brazil, working for the development of Pará and the Brazilian Amazon.
